As you begin the fall semester, keep in mind the Library"s page is a great portal. In addition to the traditional services, there Internet access is available on all floors. Over the summer, a bank of 28 new Dell SX 270 computers were installed on the second floor. These computers are equipped with basic software and CD burners.

Are you looking to start your engine from home? To search our databases and other electronic services, you should use the new Research Port. Check the library page for more details for remote dial-in service.

Our catalog, USMAI, contains books and resources for 16 University of Maryland System campuses. Through USMAI, you can renew books online, request materials from other USMAI libraries and view lists of library materials checked out.

Are you looking for quietness in all the wrong places? To accommodate users who are seeking quiet space, floors 3-6 are designated as quiet floors. Absolute quiet floors are 5-6. Just a reminder for your students? before launching into Google, check our Web page. We have hundreds of electronic journals, databases and media materials. In addition, over the summer, we acquired several new collections in Library Media. Feel free to stop in and check out these gems.
