Who should you contact when you have questions?

Hi, I'm the ISD – Training Systems Program Coordinator, Sharese Essien. In general, students should contact me for any questions regarding:

• Official admission into the program - e.g., Have all the documents been received?  How long might it take for the decision to be made once the documents are all received? What was the decision regarding admission?
• How to initiate the admissions process
• Information on other departments at UMBC who could answer a particular question -- such as the Registrar's Office, Graduate School, Bookstore
• Information about what classes will be offered in upcoming semesters
• Who your advisor is
• Approvals to register for classes
• How to register for a course
• Contact information for the faculty, adjunct faculty, and staff, if it is not readily available for you
• All correspondence regarding the procedures/paperwork for graduation, including scheduling the comprehensive exam
