Instructional Design Internship

Responsibilities
Freddie Mac is a dynamic environment with constant change, enabling Interns to grow with us through a wide variety of experiences and responsibilities. Interns at Freddie Mac have the opportunity to actively work on real-world projects while developing skills that will apply directly to their careers. Designed for current college students, our Summer or Semester Intern Program provides broad exposure to Freddie Mac's unique role in the mortgage industry. The internship program provides opportunity for a variety of on-line training, on-the-job learning opportunities, and informal experiential development possibilities starting on day one. Information about the internship opportunities are provided below.

Basic Requirements
In the role of Talent Development Intern, you will have comprehensive exposure to the areas
of Instructional Design, Training Operations, and Learning Consultation. Using Instructional
System Design methodology, you will participate in the analysis, design, development, and
implementation of training solutions for Talent Development clients. This unique role will give
you hands-on experience and the opportunity to interface with people throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate possesses the following :

-A graduate degree in Instructional Design or related discipline, or an equivalent combination
of education, experience, and knowledge or currently enrolled in a graduate program
- 3.3 GPA
- Strong critical-thinking, research, organizational, time-management, and presentation skills
- A customer-focused attitude and a desire to create and manage learning programs
- Availability to work for six months, beginning June 2012


Preferred Skills
Work experience in the following areas is highly
desirable:
-Instructional design
-Training project management,
_Training operations,
-Human Resources, or technical/ functional training delivery
