Job Title: Instructional Design Intern
Location: Gettysburg, PA
Hours: 15-30 hours per week (dependent on student availability and internship requirements)
About: Knovex, LLC is an E-Learning, training and instructional design firm located in Central PA and serving clients throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic region. Their team of professionals is seeking an energetic graduate intern currently studying Instructional Strategies or Design to assist them in improving, reviewing and editing existing training content. The Instructional Design Intern will be responsible for working directly with the Knovex Training Faculty and associated clientele to create and develop custom courses. The student intern will receive an invaluable opportunity to contribute to a growing company and take a hands-on approach to key business principles. Our student interns attend our staff meetings, contribute to company strategy and are a key component of our core team.
Job Responsibilities:
Copy editing/Proof reading for grammar
Building courses within the Learning Management System (LMS)
Reviewing LMS content
Contribute to the design and execution of online training materials
Assist in concept development for customized training content
Complete special projects as assigned
Key Skills:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enrolled in Graduate program part time or full time
Excellent communication skills
Focused on achieving defined result and exceeding goals and objectives
Ability to remain detail-oriented in a diverse team and fast-paced environment
Enthusiasm and the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Software skills related to e-Learning, Instructional design and/or web design preferred
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
