Participate:
Obtain access to a pool of pre-screened, high achieving UMBC
students with an entrepreneurial interest.
Almost 46% of the student stipends are covered by foundation
funds. Estimated company contribution equals $1,200
per intern - approximately $6.67 per hour.
Obtain a fresh perspective from interns.
Receive invitations to attend the Alex. Brown Center
for Entrepreneurship Speakers Series and network with other
entrepreneurs.
How
the program Works at UMBC:
Submission, Selection, and Timetable
Submit your position description by December 6, 2004.
Receive student credentials for review in mid December
Interview potential candidates and make selections
for the best fit with your organization by the end of January.
Begin intern placement during the first week of February.
Eligible
Companies Must:
Have $50 million or less in annual revenue and/or fewer
than 200 employees
