Dr. Sadasivam takes top SAMPE honors

Dr. Sadasivam competed in the student presentation competition of the local SAMPE chapter meeting on Wednesday evening, February 24th. His presentation on abrasive waterjet peening with elastic prestress took top honors and he won $500, as well as a free trip to the upcoming meeting in Seattle. Balaji Sadasivam successfully defends his Doctoral Dissertation

Despite the heavy snow and school closing, Dr. Sadasivam successfully defended his dissertation research on abrasive waterjet peening of metals subjected to elastic prestress. A big celebration will be held in his honor in February!

New Slicer/Grinder

LAMP receives a new slicer/grinder for preparing our specimens.  Support for this equipment was received from the NIDCR.   

Devendra Bajaj successfully defends his Doctoral Dissertation

Dr. Bajaj defended his dissertation work on Monday December 21st, 2009.  He discussed the structure and crack growth resistance behavior of human enamel.  A big celebration will be held in his honor in January!
