HOTEL INFO

Building Bridges in the City and Beyond Conference
April 11 & 12, 2008

...........................................................................................................................

For our out-of-town guests, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Radisson Lord Baltimore and have negotiated a special rate for conference participants ($155 per night). The hotel is located within convenient walking distance to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and shuttle buses will also be operating at regular intervals on conference days between the hotel and UMBC campus, which is located in Catonsville, Maryland (a 10-minute ride from downtown).  Bus schedules will be provided to all conference participants before arrival dates.

The easiest way to make hotel reservations is by calling the Radisson Lord Baltimore at 1-800-333-3333 (US Toll Free) or 1-410-539-8400. To get the special group rate, please mention that you are attending the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) conference.

Please be sure to make your room reservations as soon as possible. Space at the hotel is limited. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is March 10, 2008.

For more information on the Radisson Lord Baltimore, please visit: http://www.radisson.com/lordbaltimore

If you would like to share a room with someone else, please send the conference organizers an email at mallinson@umbc.edu or provench@umbc.edu before the March 10th reservation cutoff.  Some conference attendees have already contacted the conference committee expressing their interest in sharing a room, and we would like to try to accommodate as many of these requests as possible.
