Mrs. Dabeck, the Office Manager for the Learning Resources Center, has over twenty-years of combined experience between the federal and state governments. She began her career as a high-school work-study at the National Security Agency (NSA), and worked there for over a decade while taking both internal Department of Defense (DoD) classes, and Business Management evening-classes at Anne Arundel Community College. Mrs. Dabeck left NSA, as an Intelligence Research Analyst, to raise her three children. When the time came to re-enter the workforce, Mrs. Dabeck decided to switch gears to state/university employment, thus making it convenient to simultaneously return to school, and work on her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, with an emphasis in Literature. In that capacity, Mrs. Dabeck is a student here at UMBC and is excited about writing, poetry-reading, and assimilating books in the canon. Mrs. Dabeck enjoys singing, community outreach, and holds a “glass-half-full/attitude of gratitude mindset.” |
