Ms. Riley has a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Ancient Studies along with a Certificate of Women's Studies from UMBC. While still a student she worked at the LRC for 4 years as a tutor in the Math Lab. After graduating she was employed by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation before they closed down their DC office. She also taught Math at Howard Community College and the Laurel College Center before coming to teach LRC 099 and Math 106 at UMBC. She has come back to work at the LRC as the Coordinator of Program Operations where she schedules the appointment tutoring and the Tutor Training. She also works with Sharon Fallin to administer the Placement Testing in the spring and summer.
