My name is Mona Prakash. I am a sophomore and international student here at UMBC with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science minoring in Economics. I am truly passionate about math. After taking MATH 150 during my freshman year with Dr. Kelly, I volunteered to become an SI leader because I absolutely loved the course. I especially enjoy helping my fellow students with math and helping them to enjoy math as much as I do -- turning math-dreads into math-lovers.

My name is Alex Woo and I am currently a sophomore here at UMBC majoring in Psychology on a Pre-dental track with the hopes of becoming a Pediatric Dentist. I took MATH 150 with Professor Raji Baradwaj during my first semester at UMBC and have taken AP Calculus in high school. As an SI leader, I hope to help students experiencing the same problems I encountered while trying to learn mathmatics.

When I wasn't doing math in high school, I spent most of my time playing sports such as indoor track and softball and going out to local concerts.
