Srujana Dasari

Hello, my name is Srujana and I am Sophomore, Biology Major. I am on a Pre-Med Track, and hope to be an Endocrinologist one day. I am also a Peer Health Educator on Campus affiliated with UHS. I took BIO 141, Spring of 2014 and really enjoyed the class. Though, initially I was nervous about taking the course, I soon realized that with some time, effort and "good study techniques" the class wasn't as hard as I perceived it to be.

I learned to utilize the resources available to me like the TA's, and most importantly SI.

As a student who attended SI, I learned to draw out processes, and learned best when I discussed topics with peers and SI's. This is the main reason I decided to become an SI.

I hope to be a valuable resource to students, and to contribute to SI by bringing in study techniques, and methods that helped me succeed in the course!

I am a junior Biological Sciences and Financial Economics double major. I previously ran track and field at UMBC and I love to exercise. During my free time I like to play sports, relax with friends, and read. I plan to go hopefully into the navy for medical school after I graduate from UMBC.
