Hello! My name is Anthony Nguyen and I am a rising junior at UMBC. I major in Chemical Engineering on the Biotechnology track and work for the Martenlab. I am also a Meyerhoff, member of SGA, and on e-board for Tau Beta Pi. I have always been involved in peer tutoring and love to take the chance to help out my classmates. Not only do I find the experience rewarding, but it often helps me out a lot too. I am always willing to lend a hand, and will even try to reach out with it at the same time.
My adventures in ENCH 215 began with Dr. Bayles last fall. There she taught me the ins and outs of material balances, all while challenging me to think and behave like an Engineer. ENCH 215 is an awesome first class to begin your chemical engineering experience and I will be sure to do whatever I can to make it as great for you as it was for me!
