About the conference

Join us for the 16th Annual McNair Scholars Research Conference at the University of Maryland Baltimore County on Friday, September 19th and Saturday, September 20th, 2008 on the campus of UMBC.  Scholars from across the country will give oral and poster presentations highlighting their research as McNair Scholars.  Students from all disciplines are invited to present. 

Who should attend the conference

McNair Scholars, research advisers, mentors, and program staff are invited to participate in UMBC’s McNair Scholars Research Conference and to visit the UMBC campus, which is strategically located in the Baltimore-Washington corridor.

Location & time

UMBC is located in the suburban setting of Baltimore County, Maryland, just 5 miles outside of Baltimore City and just 3 miles from Baltimore/Washington International airport. Conference presentations will take place in newly designed state-of-the-art classroom facilities. The campus features ample parking.
