Description of Research

My personal research interests include studying the interplay of the biological, psychological and community/social aspects of health and wellness.

I am currently working involved in research projects focused on the evaluation Meyerhoff Scholarship Program. The program is designed to increase the participation and achievement of underrepresented minority students in STEM fields.
My thesis examines the interplay among gender, academic social support and African-American student achievement.
