Description of Research
As a research assistant in Dr. Maton's lab, I am involved in a project focused on the evaluation of programs designed to provide support for undergraduate minorities students interested in the sciences. Specifically we are examining the importance of pre-college education aspirations, career goals, and research experience in increasing the proportion of minority students attaining doctoral degrees in the sciences.
