MARYLAND INSTITUTE for POLICY ANALYSIS & RESEARCH

The Maryland Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (MIPAR) at UMBC serves as its premier center for applied scholarly research on significant issues of public policy, and links the analytical resources of the University with public policy makers in the state and region.

Mission MIPAR’s mission is to bring the analytic capability of University scholars to bear upon the pressing policy concerns facing decision makers in the public sector. more	Research MIPAR conducts policy studies, program evaluations, and surveys on a wide range of topics including public management, health policy, urban planning, and electronic government. more	Clients MIPAR activities are supported by federal agencies, private foundations, and state and local governments. more
