Job Title:  Lecturer in Korean Language and Culture

Lecturer in Korean Language and Culture, beginning in the 2009-2010 academic year. Master’s or Ph.D,. native or near-native fluency in Korean and English required. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in teaching university lower level language classes using a communicative methodology, and upper level content courses; a strong background in curricular development; familiarity with teaching Korean as a heritage language; an active interest in developing cultural programs; and familiarity with integrating technology into classroom instruction. This is a three year, non-tenure-track renewable appointment funded through a multi-year grant by the Korea Foundation. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package.
