There are currently three jazz groups at UMBC, the Jazz Ensemble and two small groups. The audition is the same for all groups. Non-traditional instruments are welcome.

Auditions will take place on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 from 2-4pm in Fine Arts Room 011. Drums audition at 1pm in the same location. A sign-up sheet will be posted on the door. Walk-ins will also be welcome. Please notify Matt Belzer if you have a conflict with this date and time.

Auditions procedures are described in the applicable PDF document below. All instrumentalists are welcome including low brass and strings. Both new and returning students are required to audition. Contact Matt Belzer with any questions.
