Honorary Degree Recipients
Dr. Franco Einaudi, Director of the Earth Sciences
Directorate, Goddard Space Flight Center, will
receive an honorary Doctor of Science Degree for
his leadership in earth sciences.
Dr. Claude Steele,
Lucy Stern Professor of Psychology at Stanford
University will receive an honorary Doctor of Science
Degree for his work in social psychology and minority
achievement. Dr. Steele will deliver the Commencement
address.

Honorary Degree Recipients
Mrs. Virginia Dresher, will receive an honorary
Doctor of Public Service degree in recognition
for her philanthropic efforts and commitment to
humanities education.
Senator Paul S. Sarbanes, Former, U.S. Senator,
Maryland, will receive an honorary Doctor of Public
Service for his 30 years of public service and
commitment to the people of Maryland. Senator
Sarbanes will deliver the Commencement address.
