William Wade, economics, accepted a new position as vice president of
claims with American Medical Security in Green Bay, Wis. He and his wife Bridget live in Roscoe, Ill.,
but will move to Wisconsin in the fall.

Wayne Gold, American studies and English '80, is the regional director
of the National Labor Relations Board's Regional Office in Baltimore. He received a J.D. with honors in 1977 from
Creighton University School of Law, in Omaha, Neb. He resides in Columbia, Md., with his wife Ann Gold,

Connor, Inc. in Baltimore. He and his wife Beth reside in Ellicott City, Md.

Michael Apicella, biological sciences, received his doctor of
dental surgery from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1984. He is currently an endodontist of the U.S. Army.

Tamara "Tammy" (McCarthy) Marge, economics, is the director of strategic
accounts for Experian. She and her husband, Salvatore "Sam" Marge, sociology, have two

Deborah (Frank) Bleakney, information systems, is a programmer/analyst

Sheila (Reed) Magin, history and teaching certificate,

Frank Flack, mechanical engineering and physics '91,
received a postdoctoral fellowship from the Japanese Society for the promotion of science. He will
be conducting research at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan for two years.
Edgar Garcia, theatre, is an associate director for Kaiser
Permanente Educational Theatre Programs. He resides in Los Angeles, Calif.
Salvatore "Sam" Marge, sociology, resides in Mullica Hill,
N.J., with his wife, Tamara (McCarthy) Marge, economics, and their

Bobby Mills, mathematics, is a devoted deacon at the Mount Sinai
Baptist Church. He is also an IT project manager for the Department of Defense. Bobby completed his master's degree in
telecommunications management at the University of Maryland, University College, in 1995. He resides in Washington,

Jerry Nealon, emergency health services, is a monitor technician
for Cardiac Telecom. He resides in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Alkesh Patel, biochemistry and molecular biology, received his
doctor of medicine from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1994. He is an assistant professor for the state

trainer for the Peace Corps for two years. He served in Outer Mongolia, where he purchased a camel. He now resides

Timothy Tosten, political science, was promoted to assistant
director for worksite enrichment programs for the National Institutes of Health. He resides in Columbia, Md.

Jahmal Hairston, biological sciences, graduated from the University of
Virginia Medical School in May 2000. He is doing his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Cincinnati

Stephanie (Kindle) Marshall, psychology, is working on her master's
degree in special education at George Mason University. Stephanie is also a teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools. She married Rob Marshall
in October and they reside in Springfield, Va.
Jacqueline (Church) Simonds, English, owns Beagle Bay Books and
is a publisher and writer for the company. She and her husband Robin reside in Reno, Nev.
Anton Stocker, theatre, is a systems administrator for George

engineering at Johns Hopkins in October 2000. Joe is a postdoctoral candidate for U.S. Army Research Lab in Aberdeen,
Md. His wife Sonia (Abraham) Elabd, biological science, is pursuing her master's degree in writing at
Johns Hopkins. She works as a medical editor for JHPIEGO, a non-profit health organization. They reside in Baltimore.

and received the Edwin B. Newman Graduate Research Award. She is working at the Children's Hospital Medical Center

Daniel Scott, economics, is a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley
Dean Witter. He resides in Baltimore with his wife Courtney.
Anna Soderberg, theatre, received her professional acting certificate
from the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre. She is a full-time performing artist for the Tears of
