All in a Day’s Work:
20 UMBC Alumni with Enviable Jobs

By now, we all know about UMBC’s chess geniuses and potential future Nobel Prize winners. And, yes, we’re very proud of them. But chessboards and lab coats aside, there are some UMBC alumni out there who have really cool jobs—fun jobs that make us “ooooh!” and “aaaah!” with envy. In this issue of Generations, we profile 20 alumni who have fascinating, fun or otherwise out-of-the-ordinary careers or pastimes. If you think your job is just as—or more—noteworthy as the ones that follow, it’s not too late. Send an e-mail to generations@umbc.edu, and we will continue this feature with more profiles online at www.umbc.edu/generations over the coming months
