Access Maryland Process at UMBC

Access MD Presentation and Campus Accessibility Discussion   February 6, 2015 in UC 312 at noon (location changed to adjoining room)

Facilities Management, the Office of Human Relations, and Student Support Services are hosting a discussion of potential projects that will improve the physical environment of UMBC and meet the needs of students, staff, faculty and visitors with disabilities. Your ideas, suggestions and feedback will inform the process for our AccessMD Program project proposals.

One source of potential projects comes from campus discussions that are held in the early spring. This year's discussion for our FY 17 submission will be held on February 6, 2015 at noon in the University Center, Room 312.

For more information or to submit your suggestion.

We accept ideas year-round, click on the link above for how to submit ideas or suggestions.

Please contact Celso Guitian in Planning and Construction Services at cguitian@umbc.edu or ext. 5578 or Stephanie Lazarus, ADA/Section 504 Coordinator at slazar@umbc.edu or ext. 5745 with questions or concerns.  ASL interpretation will be provided. Individuals requesting accommodations for disabilities should contact slazar@umbc.edu at least one week prior to the event to request accommodations. In all situations, a good faith effort (up until the time of the event) will be made to provide accommodations.
