UMBC is dedicated to providing students and faculty members access to a wealth of technological resources, both in and out of the classroom. There are a number of computer labs containing Windows, Linux, and Macintosh machines scattered throughout campus, and wireless access is available in several buildings. The residence facilities are equipped with high-speed ethernet links, and many classrooms are equipped with laptop-ready projection equipment.
