UMBC Audio Visual Services Mission Statement

The Primary mission of UMBC Audio Visual Services is the distribution, storage and maintenance of audio visual and computer projection equipment for UMBC instructional use.

It is in charge of projection and audio equipment installed in the lecture halls and classrooms. It trains faculty and staff on proper use of equipment and assists in the selection of media equipment for instruction.

Audio Visual Services may also provide services to other schools and state agencies and assist UMBC departments in off-campus presentations and conferences on a case-by-case basis. Costs may be incurred for non instructional events.
