Connecting a Laptop to a Data Projector (rev. 6/06)
1. Plug
Laptop and Data Projector into AC Power wall outlet
2. Connect
the two units via 15-pin VGA cable

3. Turn
Data Projector on, wait 30 - 60 seconds
4. Turn
Laptop on last
If Laptop
display does not appear on screen:
a) Press
or check source/input button of Data Projector - wait 5 seconds
after each press
b) Reboot
Laptop
c) Use
Lptop keys to toggle extenal display - hold down the "Fn
Key" and the "Display Key"

contact AV Services (#2461) for key
- Turn
on cabinet power using switch found on left.
- Use
remote to turn on/off projectors.
- Set
focus using knob on projectors first.
- Ring
on lens for zoom (should be pre-set).
When
finished:
- Turn
off projectors using remote.
-
Turn off cabinet power switch.
- Put
remote back in cabinet and lock.
Your
colleagues will thank you for your consideration.

305 Users:
- Press
SOURCE SELECT for proper input:
- VGA
for computer
- number
for video (use channel 3)
- To
select channel 3, press Program - or + 3.
- To
use cable TV, press C on switcher behind cabinet on floor.
- You
may select channels using Program - or + ; or set TV to
channel 3, and use VCR channel select.

On/Off button once -wait 10 seconds

appropriate button for source:

1 for computer source
- Video
for video source
- Turn
on power to wall rack (top right corner of rack)

computer - connect laptop to input plate using 15 pin M-M
VGA cable

volume on amplifier in rack unit
- Focus

POWER button twice to turn off projector ALWAYS
TURN OFF PROJECTOR WHEN FINISHED - BULBS ARE VERY EXPENSIVE
