| Contact Instructional Technology and New Media |
The Instructional Technology and New Media group supports the pedogogical use of the tool and the integration into the Blackboard course management
system. Contact Karin Readel at ext. 5-3885 or
readel@umbc.edufor information about clicker training sessions. Once you have attended a training session, you will be issued a "faculty kit" consisting of one clicker, and one USB receiver.
The Classroom
Technologies group (AV Services) assists faculty with ensuring that
the receivers and software are installed and working properly in classrooms
and lecture halls. Faculty may contact Dave Souder at ext. 5-2619 or
souder@umbc.edu for more information.

| UMBC Bookstore |
If you are going to use clickers in your classroom, it is important that you contact the bookstore and let them know so that they will have an adequate supply of clickers for all courses.
Students can purchase the clickers in the UMBC bookstore or directly through the Turning Technologies website. The school code is UMBC.
NOTE: Students can sell the clickers back to the bookstore at the end-of-term buy back if they are through using them.

|
NOTE: DoIT
requires that all instructors using the system register their courses and
have their students register their clickers through the appropriate Blackboard
course using the instructions below. This maintains continuity in the system
and allows for better support through DoIT.

|
| Registering Student Clickers in Blackboard |
Students need to register their clickers in Blackboard only once
(Bb course -> Tools -> TurningPoint Registration Tool). The registration in Bb is good for the life of the clicker.
