Oral Quiz – Wimba Voice Board

and General Student  Instructions

The oral quiz or Voice Board will be listed in your Blackboard course. 

In order to complete this assignment you will need to have working speakers and a microphone for your computer. Make sure both are turned ON.

If  you don't have everything necessary or do not have a fast connection, you can do this at the IMC, AC IV 219. All computers there are equipped with what you need

• Log in to your Bb course
• Click on Wimba Button – may say Oral Quiz, Voice Board…
• Enter ‘Voice Board’

Please note- you should run the Wimba Wizard to be sure your machine is configured correctly –

must allow pop-ups and trust applet.

• Highlight text with speaker at end (from instructor) scroll down to player
  • click ‘green arrow’ below to play (= hear what instructor recorded )
  • Click ‘Reply’, then ‘red dot’ to record your entry
  • ‘Black square’ stops recording
  • Playback with ‘green arrow’
  • You can re-do it as many times as you want, then post it
  • Once you post, however, you cannot change it or delete it
  
  
  
  

  Instructor may just have written the assignment and then you can hit new or reply to record your response.
