Request for an OIT Computer Classroom

 

Please fill out all of the sections on this form. When you are done press the "Send Request Now" button at the bottom. You need to have a myUMBC account to use computer labs on campus.

Please note that confirmations of your reservation will be sent to you via email. Confirmations for the current semester will be sent within 2-4 business days. Confirmations for future semesters will be sent out as soon as possible. If you have not received email and you would like to know if your request was received, please email labs@umbc.edu .

Software Package #1:

NOTE: the following policies apply to software to be installed on the student lab servers.

  • The software must be able to run on an Active Directory Network.
  • OIT needs a minimum of 3-4 weeks to get the software operational.
  • Bring OIT the software as soon as you can (the sooner the better).
  • OIT will need to borrow the software documentation.
  • You will need to bring proof that the software is licensed for the number of copies you are asking us to have running. A purchase order or letter from the company are examples of documents we accept.
