Secure
HP/Reflection Login
effective
August 24, 2004
Starting
Tuesday, August 24, 2004 you must log into the VPN Dialer
before you
can sign onto your HP/Reflection account. Virtual Private Network
(VPN) Client provides secure access to UMBC's network. The data
you send through the network is encrypted at the sending end,
goes through a "tunnel" that can't be accessed by
any other data without proper encryption, and gets decrypted
at the receiving end. You must setup the "tunnel"
before you can open the connection to HP systems. If you need
to install the VPN client, you can download it from our downloads
page. Instructions to install this software can be found on
the same page.
