Server locations, instances

From Syscore

Curently we have the following Blackboard instances:

Production - 4 servers

Test - 3 older servers for testing our load balancing system.

Procrustes/bb-pilot - Latest version of Blackboard for "pilot" production

BBSS/BooBoo - Server for winter mini-mester. Allows for BB downtime while not effecting time sensitive classes.

Weblock - Development server on the latest release of blackboard. The only real "ok to break it" server.

Archive - Server designated to hold all the old courses that we don't want to keep on production anymore. These can't be archived due to the fact that these courses may not be restorable on newer versions of Blackboard.

All servers are currently located in ECS rack "E" with plans for moving some servers to PUP for DR.

BooBoo/bbss.umbc.edu is located in Rack A3.

Production - App1.umbc.edu, App2.umbc.edu, BB-file1.umbc.edu, BB-db1.umbc.edu

Test - BB1.umbc.edu, tt-file8.umbc.edu, tt-db8.umbc.edu,

All other instances have the server name = service/instance name
