WebAuth

From Syscore

[WebAuth] is UMBC's web single-sign-on system. It was developed in Summer 2000 as part of UMBC's initial directory services infrastructure to tie together various account and information management applications. WebAuth was soon expanded to support other applications such as BlackBoard shortly afterwards. The server and most clients are written in Perl, though there is also a client that can be used for Java applications. WebAuth is available for services hosted in our Core Web Environment through simple .htaccess directives. Read about Using WebAuth in the Core Web Environment.
