Adaptive Release |
|
|
![]() |
The Adaptive Release
feature allows instructors to set rules that specify when certain
content is made available to students or groups of students. Once rules
are set, students or groups of students must meet the criteria for
further items to be available to them.
|
|
With Adaptive Release, instructors can do the following:
- Add Date criteria to a rule
- Make content available to specific users
- Make content available to Groups
- Make content available based on Gradebook attempt
- Make content available based on Gradebook score
- Add Review Status criteria to a rule

Options for Adaptive Release
|
|
- Select a date and time for an item's availability to students (the same feature is available when you Modify an item) or
- Select
usernames or groups of students whom you wish to see certain content
(Remember to click search to pull up members of the course, if you use
the browse menu) or
- Select
a Gradebook Item, such as an exam. Then, select a condition for the
item to be visible (i.e. if students received at least an 80% on Exam
1, the Word document will become available). or
- Select another Item; when all students have opened that Item, this Word document will be available to them.
