Adding
a Syllabus to Your Blackboard Course |

Go to Content Areas in the Course Control Panel - click
on Syllabus |

Adding the Syllabus - Two Options: Pasting and Uploading to
Blackboard |

A sample
syllabus is posted on the Syllabus page.

Two options for
posting your syllabus:
|
|
a. Copy and Paste your syllabus as plain text
- From
the existing sample Syllabus, click Modify.
- In the text box on the page, paste your copied syllabus
text
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Submit

b.
Upload a previously created document (i.e. Word, PDF, HTML)
|
|
- From the Add section
click Item.
- Scroll down to
Content Attachments. Click Browse to select
a file from disk
- Optional:
Enter a "Name of Link to File". This can
be as simple as "Course Syllabus". If you do not
enter a name, the link will appear as the name of the uploaded
file.
-Scroll to the
bottom of the page and click Submit.

to view or download the syllabus.
