Each
Blackboard user at UMBC has a user account that contains some
of your personal information. By default, the following information
is included in each Blackboard user account when it is created:
-First
and Last name
-UMBC user ID
-Social Security number
Click here to see Privacy Options.
NOTE:
Information
in your Blackboard account is separate from your myUMBC
account and school record information (i.e. your address).
Therefore, changes to your birthdate and mailing address in
Blackboard will not be reflected in school records. For security
reasons, it is also recommended that you delete your student
ID number within Blackboard.
