How
to Save Posted Documents from Your Course |

Since instructors
may use Blackboard to post lectures, syllabi,
assignments, and other course information, it is recommended
that students download these course materials.
students
may download available files if they have
been made available by the instructor, and read them later,
regardless of whether they are connected to the internet
convenient
for those with slower connections: download a file once, no
need to reconnect to read it

| Saving
Files from Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla,
and Safari |
|
Internet Explorer:
-Right-click on
the link to the file, left click on Save Target As...
-Select the location
on disk where you want to save the file.

Netscape:
-Right-click on
the link to the file, left click on Save Link Target
As...
-Select the location
on disk where you want to save the file.
|
|
|
Mozilla:
-Right-click on
the link to the file, left click on Save Link Target
As...
-Select the location
on disk where you want to save the file.

|
Safari
(Mac only):
There are a couple
options for saving files from Safari:
- Click the link,
and the will automatically save to your default download location
or
-Hold the Control
key and click on the link (see right), then click Save
Linked File As...
