Welcome to the Advanced Blackboard Workshop

You will need your UMBC user id and password, and the URL for your course during this workshop. If you need help with either of these, try to see Bob or Marie during the break.

We will be covering the following functions of Blackboard during this workshop:

• An Overview of changes on Blackboard 5.51
• Using the Virtual Classroom
• Using the Gradebook efficiently
• Using the Pool Manager to create tests and surveys
• Creating Learning Units.
