How to Tell your Version of Windows

Step One
Open the Start menu by clicking on it, or by hitting the Windows key, and click on the "Run" button.
Step Two

In the Run box that comes up, type in "winver" without the quotes as shown to the right and click OK
Step Three
The program that launches will tell you the version of Windows you are running. Click here to go back to the main alert page.
