PDF Help: Zooming In and Out

To zoom in or zoom out of your PDF document:

1. Click on the Magnifying Glass icon (Figure 1) in the Adobe Acrobat Reader toolbar; or click on View in the menu bar and select Zoom In or Zoom Out.

   Note: You can switch from the Zoom In icon to the Zoom Out icon in the toolbar. To change icons, hold down your mouse button over the Magnifying Glass icon until a small pop-up window appears containing two magnifying glasses. (Figure 2) The Zoom In icon has a plus sign inside the magnifying glass while the Zoom Out icon has a minus sign within. If you are using a version of Adobe Acrobat Reader earlier than version 5.0, one of the icons will appear grayed-out. The grayed-out icon is the one that is currently selected. To choose the other option, move your mouse over the icon and release the mouse button.

2. Click anywhere on your PDF document and the view of your document will zoom in or zoom out, depending on which magnifying glass icon you have selected.
