Go to myUMBC and click the Services tab and download McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i.
Note: You will need to log in using myUMBC username and password.
Click the "Save" button.
Note: Installation of this program will require your computer to restart. Please close all open programs and save your work before running the installation program.
A window will appear where you can choose where to save the file. Change the current location to the Desktop by clicking the down arrow on the drop-down list next to Save in .
Double-click the McAfee80iInstaller.exe icon on your desktop to begin the installation
If prompted for Previous Version Detected, make sure that Preserve settings is selected and click Next.
Accept the terms of the licensing agreement and click OK.
Choose Typical for the Setup Type and click Next
Click Install to start the installation process
Once the installation has completed, click Finished leaving both Update Now and Run On-Demand Scan selected.
Once McAfee has updated and the Full System scan has finished, click OK.
Click Yes to reboot your computer.
