Orientation Course SeLEction Day
Orientation begins with Course Selection Day this summer. The day-long event is designed to provide you with the opportunity to meet both current and new UMBC students, faculty and staff; learn more about academic options and requirements, begin planning your academic career; register for fall classes; and learn more about student life, both on-and off-campus. Attending an orientation course selection day is mandatory for all new students.
Orientation Course Selection Day will be help in June, July and August, 2012. Students should expect to be on campus for a full day. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Many Orientation sessions also include a concurrent family program. You should select and register for your Orientation Course Selection Day online. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
