Make UMBC Yours!
The Freshmen Orientation Program begins with Course Selection Day this winter. The day-long event is designed to provide you with the opportunity to meet both current and new UMBC students, faculty and staff; learn more about academic options and requirements; begin planning your academic career; register for spring classes; and learn more about student life, both on-and off-campus.

Orientation Course Selection Days will be held December 14, 2009, January 6 (highly recommended for all freshmen), and January 15, 2010. The day begins with check-in at 8 a.m., concludes at 5 p.m. and includes lunch. You should register for your Orientation Course Selection Day online. Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
