Orientation 2009 is where your adventure begins. The Transfer Orientation Program begins with placement testing and Course Selection Day this summer and concludes with the Welcome Week celebration during the first week of classes.

		DATES TO REMEMBER May-August 2009 Ongoing: Online placement testing during your assigned one-week period. Placement tests are required for those students who have not yet completed a college-level English composition course, social science course and a transferable mathematics course (with a grade of “C” or better). June 17, July 13, 15, 16, and August 6, 7: Orientation Course Selection Days. You may select your orientation date online. Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. August 28-September 6: Welcome Week. A week-long series of social and educational events designed to help you meet other students and learn about opportunities available at UMBC both inside and outside the classroom. *Prior to registration, students must submit the Mandatory UMBC Health Form.
