Reporting an Invention
It is easy to report an
invention to OTD. Simply
follow the following three steps:
STEP
#1:
Complete an invention disclosure form. Download
the Invention
Disclosure Form (IDF) and
complete it by hand (please print) or
open the form, fill-in
the appropriate information, and
print the completed
document. It will be necessary
to attach to the IDF
a detailed description or a
manuscript fully describing
the invention.

STEP
#2:
Obtain signatures from all of the inventors. The
completed IDF must be signed by all of the
inventors named on the form.
STEP
#3:
Send your Invention Disclosure Form to OTD.
Your
completed and signed IDF can be submitted
to OTD
by dropping-off the form at OTD, sending it via campus mail, or by U.S.
mail.
