How does the transition to the T2
Parking Management System at UMBC Affect Me?
Parking now offers convenient
online services for payment transactions for daily and annual parking permits
and gate cards, and payment of citations.
Payment forms accepted are American Express, Discover, Mastercard or
ACH.
Additional online features include vehicle registration for faculty, staff
and employees, review of citations, and an administrative appeal
review process.
Your parking account may be
accessed by going to:
my.umbc.edu/go/parking
Citations will no longer be posted against student academic accounts.
The Motor Vehicle Administration will be notified to place a “Flag”
against your vehicle record for citations that have not been satisfied after
60 days. This flag prevents your vehicle registration from being renewed or
transferring of license plates.
The new system will require all permits to be attached to a vehicle. We will phase in the vehicle registration
for new faculty/staff permits.
Existing faculty/staff will not initially be affected by this
requirement. Students will continue to
register their vehicle online.
Parking Services will handle all parking permits, gate cards and
replacements. Permits are no longer
available at the Cashier’s Office.
