NEWS/UPDATES
STUDENT PARKING PERMITS:
Student parking permits for the fall 2008 semester are available. To obtain your student permit the following is required: you must be registered for class, register your vehicle(s) online in Student Parking Registration and choose the delivery option. If you are picking up your permit at Parking Services, you will need to provide your UMBC ID card.
Student permit mailing will end on September 19, 2008. Permits requested after this date must be picked up at Parking Services.
SATELLITE PARKING:
Restricted students need to relocate their vehicles to the satellite lot by 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, 8/27/2008. Transit will begin operating the shuttle to the satellite lot on Monday, August 25, 2008.
MOTORCYCLE AND ROAD APPROVED SCOOTERS:
In order to better service our motorcycle and road approved scooter riders, Parking Services has implemented a new policy.
Motorcycle and road approved motor scooters must be registered with Parking Services and display a valid UMBC decal. Your designated parking area will be the same as allowed with your parking permit. a maximum of two motorcycles/scooters are permitted in one parking space.
STUDENT PARKING LOT 6
Parking Lot 6 is now designated as student parking only. This lot
is located within the residential community and after evaluating usage
during the past academic year, it was determined that student parking is
the appropriate designation for this area.
