NEW PERMIT HOURSMonday – Thursday: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.NEW COMMUTER PARKINGA new addition to Lot 1 will be open for the fall semester with 121 additional spaces designated for commuter student parking, Zone ‘A’. When you enter the lot off of Park Rd the connector to the new Zone ‘A’ parking is accessed on your left. The existing parking area remains designated Zone ‘D’ for faculty/staff parking. PARKING TIPSDuring the first few weeks of the semester, be prepared for traffic congestion and higher parking demand. Allow adequate time to arrive to campus, park and walk to your building. The Wave‘n Ride shuttle will run 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Monday – Friday during the fall semester. See umbc.edu/transit for more information.Commuter student parking, Zone ‘A’ fills up early around the academic buildings and parking areas within Hilltop Circle. Stadium Lot, Lot 23 and Lot 25 are good parking options for students arriving later in the morning or midday.Faculty/staff with Zone ‘D’ permits arriving later in the morning have parking options on Lot 24 and Lot 25.
