Support the Band

In the past 9 years, the UMBC Down and Dirty Dawg Pep Band has grown from a band of 12 to a band of over 60 members. Today, the band not only plays at home basketball games, they also play at many volleyball, hockey, and lacrosse games, as well as pep rallies. Additionally, the band travels with both the Men and Women's basketball teams to the America East Conference. In March 2007, the band also accompanied the Women's basketball team to their first ever NCAA game.

With the increase in members, games, travelling expenses, and te need for new equipment; we appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Benefits of giving to the UMBC Pep Band can include the following:

  • Contributing to the educational opportunities of future employees and leaders of our community
  • Improving the experience of UMBC musicians
  • Building relationships within the community through your association with the band and UMBC Athletics
  • Tax deductions
  • Philanthropic recognition

How can I help support the band? There are many ways you can help support the band! Every little bit helps.

For more information on how you can support the band, please contact the director.

Thank you for supporting to the UMBC Down and Dirty Dawg Pep Band.
