BIOGRAPHY

Ding Wang was born on the 8th of June, 1972 in Nanchong, China. He received his B.Sc degree in Techonlogy of Optoelectronics from University of Electronics Science and Technology of China(UESTC) in 1993. After that he went on to pursue master degree in Optics in the Institute of Applied Physics of UESTC. From 1993 to 1995 he worked as a research assistant majoring in Air and Space optical communication. Also he was involved in the laser spectroscopy discerning system. Presently he is a Research Assistant with Dr. C. R. Menyuk and is working on nonlinear optical loop mirror and wavelength division multiplexing of solitons in long distance communications.
