BIOGRAPHY

Tao Yu was born on Nov. 26, 1968 on Changsha, China. He entered Beijing Polytechnic University as an E.E. student in 1986. In Jan. 1989, he transfered to University of Turku, Finland . He got my B. Sc. in 1991, and M. Sc. in 1993. Now he is a student of UMBC, studying E.E. in CSEE department. You are welcome to visit his home page.

Present he is a research assistant, and working on the solitons propagation and interaction in a dispersion-managed optical fiber system. The experimental setup is in LPS lab in Maryland.
