Other Professional Activities:

I have made several presentations to committees of the Maryland General Assembly on issues related to higher education and to professional sports in Maryland.  I have recently served as an interviewer for the 2001-02 American Council on Education Fellows Program and have been on the accreditation team for several reviews by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.  I am presently a member of the Academic Affairs Advisory Council of the University System of Maryland.
