Call for Participation in a Research Study on Error Detection for Speech
Recognition output

Speech recognition represents the future generation
of human computer interaction. We are running a research experiment on
speech recognition in the information systems department, which aims to
discover how people identify and correct errors in speech recognition
output.
The study will take place in the ITE building and is expected to last
about 2 hours. Your voice will be recorded during part of the task. You
will be compensated for $20 for your participation.
Participants must be native English speakers. Participants with good
reading, speaking and writing skills are highly preferred.

Participate in Research and Earn $10

The Speech Recognition Research group of Information Systems Department at UMBC
is looking for participants to test a speech software. The experiment
will take around 50 minutes. Participants will be paid $10 in cash for
their time and effort.All participants need to be native English speakers with NO previous
experience with speech recognition.
