The American Chemical Society's Condolences on the Death of Jessica Soto-Perez
 
We at the American Chemical Society were saddened to learn of Jessica's death. 
Jessica started her affiliation with the ACS while in college as an undergraduate student. 
After receiving her Bachelor's degree, Jessica continued her education in the field of science 
attending graduate school at UMBC where she joined the ACS as a member. It is our belief 
that Jessica's pride in her profession will shine and carry on through those that she mentored. We are proud to call her a member of the American Chemical Society.
 
Our deepest sympathies go out to Jessica's family and friends.
